Hello and welcome! I’m Stephen Raj, an engineer by profession and a traveler by passion. While I’ve always found satisfaction in solving technical problems and building systems that work, it’s the journey beyond the workbench—the people, places, and food—that has truly shaped who I am.
Born with a deep curiosity and a love for exploration, I have always dreamt of seeing the world. There’s something magical about stepping into a new city, hearing a different language, experiencing new cultures, and tasting local flavors that tell stories more vividly than any textbook ever could. Though my goal is to travel across the globe, so far, I’ve had the joy of exploring some of India’s most vibrant and diverse cities—Goa, Chennai, Tirunelveli, and Mumbai—each offering a unique chapter in my travel story.
Goa was one of my first real getaways. The beaches, the vibrant nightlife, the peaceful churches, and the carefree spirit of the place left a lasting impression on me. It was there I learned how beautiful slowing down could be—how peace often hides in the sound of the waves or in a quiet sunset on a beach.
Chennai, with its rich culture and deep-rooted traditions, was an entirely different experience. The blend of modern urban life and ancient Tamil heritage is striking. From walking through the bustling streets of T. Nagar to spending quiet moments at Marina Beach, I gained a deeper appreciation for the history and warmth that southern India offers.
Then there’s Tirunelveli, a town that holds a special charm of its own. Known for its temples and sweets, it was in Tirunelveli that I truly understood the beauty of simplicity. The hospitality of the people and the spiritual energy of the place gave me a refreshing break from the city chaos and reminded me of the strength in culture and roots.
But it was Mumbai that truly stole my heart. The city that never sleeps welcomed me with open arms—and open food stalls! As a street food lover, exploring Mumbai’s vibrant food scene was nothing short of a dream. From the spicy vada pav at CST to the buttery pav bhaji at Juhu Beach, and the mouth-watering chaats at Chowpatty, every bite was a flavor-filled adventure. Mumbai’s energy, its people, and its food taught me how to find joy in the chaos and how every corner has a story to tell.
Each place I’ve visited has shaped my worldview, not just as a traveler, but as a human being. My journey is not just about destinations—it’s about the experiences, the strangers who became friends, the lessons I learned on unfamiliar roads, and the memories I carry with me. I believe travel is the greatest teacher, and I look forward to continuing this journey—one city, one story, and one plate of food at a time.
